Facility Assessor / Analyst (08/2026)
“From design or construction to capital plans: put your building expertise to work differently.”
We're an educational facility planning firm seeking someone who knows buildings inside and out. You'll assess existing facilities, identify what needs fixing, figure out what it costs, and write it up so school districts can act on it. While our primary focus is PK–12 schools, we assess and plan for all building types and other government agencies.
What you'll do:

Conduct facility walk-throughs and document building system deficiencies

Develop UniFormat Level 1 cost estimates for capital budgeting

Write 3–5 page condition analysis reports

Evaluate everything from roofs to parking lots to HVAC systems

Support facility master plans and state-required capital improvement reporting
What you need:

Bachelor's in Architecture or Construction Management
-
5+ years in architecture, construction administration, or site management
-
Knowledge of all major building systems
-
Strong technical writing skills
-
Ability to climb ladders and access roofs/mechanical equipment
-
Willingness to travel throughout New Mexico
A Plus, Not a must:
-
Familiarity with NM PSFA/PSCOC processes
-
CDT, CCM, PMP, or architectural licensure
-
Experience with PK–12 facilities
-
FAA Part 107 drone certification or drone operation experience
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
